As employment requirements change frequently due to case precedents being handed down in the courts, what is current and contemporary practice today may well be outdated tomorrow. Given this and the potential risks associated with non-compliance it is important for employing entities, within the NSW Synod, to seek assistance and advice from the HRS before committing to an employment related course of action.

The Industrial Relations Commission of NSW (“the Commission”) handed down its decision on wage increases for employees employed under State Awards in New South Wales.
