Financial Management Services (FMS) has been established to assist the wider Uniting Church and its accountants, volunteer Treasurers and office staff. We provide full accounting & financial services to some areas of the NSW Synod, and provide advice and assistance to other areas.
A "help desk" provides technical advice and support to NSW Synod congregations in matters of accounting, taxation (including GST / FBT), financial reporting, completing annual financial returns to the Synod, budgeting, auditing, Living is Giving donations, etc.
We also provide a range of professional fee-for-service arrangements.

Living is Giving allows Congregations to feel part of the wider Church by give regular donations. Information is available for how Congregations can pay including Giving Direct. Read more.
UFMS will be providing online access in the future to assist Congregation and Presbytery Treasurers with submitting financial information to Synod, and to enable easy access to information.
