Living is Giving: Believe, Share, Grow.
Living is Giving is the major fundraising program of the Synod of New South Wales and the ACT.
Your contribution to Living is Giving helps sustain vital ministries like chaplaincy in schools, universities, rural areas, prisons, hospitals and mental health facilities.
It also continues to advance the church’s mission work in the areas of Indigenous, cross-cultural, emerging ministries, theological education, tertiary ministry, and advocacy work — areas which have transformed many communities.
Living is Giving invites individuals, families and congregations to be part of God’s mission through the wider work of the Uniting Church. Every year, congregations in the Synod are invited to meet and plan how their financial contribution to the wider church fits in with their own mission goals.
Decide your ministry passion
Around March, your treasurer will receive a Leaders Guide and Planning Form where your congregation can record its choices and financial targets for the year. Forms need to be sent to Uniting Resources by June 30. The Living is Giving Handbook which contains 14 vibrant stories about mission focus areas can help you decide your ministry passion(s). A copy is inserted in Insights every March and you can find a copy online.

Donate online
Individuals are also encouraged to become partners in the mission work of the Uniting Church by donating to areas whose mission is close to your heart. You can contribute online to the mission focus areas of your choice — either regularly or as a one-off donation. Thank you!
